The extensive orchards provide bountiful apple harvests - a 'core' ingredient for our quality fruit beverages, preserves and chutneys.
The Attyflin Estate's long-established 2.5 acre walled garden grows a variety of fruits, and includes a herb garden, salad garden and vegetable garden.
The name 'Attyflin originates from the mid 16th century. In 1540, one of the OBriens (Flann) is reputed to have had a residence and castle at the site, giving rise to the name Attyflin in Irish 'Ait Ti Flainn', or 'the site of Flanns house'.
