Description
The 2.5 hour course for beginners or enthusiasts is aimed at the small apple producer or if you are thinking of planting some apple trees. We will show you how to get the most out of your apple trees.
This is a hands-on course professionally led by our Head Horticulturalist that helps everyone understand the whys and how’s. We can allow a maximum of 12 people maximum per course. Most can’t wait to get back home after the course so that they can put their newfound confidence and knowledge into practice.
This course includes light refreshments.
Itinerary:
- 10am: Arrival Meet and Greet
- Walk and Talk in the walled garden
- Pruning tools – their care and use
- 1045: Tea/Coffee light refreshments
- Visit the orchards and learn the skills
- Equipment will be provided
- 1230: Recap and round up discussion
Bring outside footwear and wet gear.
